These are the chronicles of the Allura, skippered by John Dick and an ever revolving crew of friends and family, as they explore the coasts of North and Central America. The first voyage was a 6,300 mile trip during the spring of 2007 from Seattle, Washington to Charleston, South Carolina.
In late June, Allura was sailed up the east coast to New England for the summer, traveling as far "down east" as Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. After returning to Tenants Harbor, Allura was hauled and is currently stored near Rockport, Maine.
